The
United States is poised at a crossroads.
A very radical, eminently courageous decision
needs to be made now. Each United States
Representative and Senator holds a key
to our destiny. Either rise as an individuation
of Totality which is always right and
moral or fall with the herd of partisan
politicians. It is time to separate the

Initiated
by the United States, tons of depleted
uranium have been deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan,
Yugoslavia, the Balkans, and Iraq again,
with no end in sight for the withdrawal
of its use. The United States of America,
the land of freedom, democracy and high
ideals has nuked a goodly portion of the
globe with a material that has a 4.5 billion
year half-life. In addition, it has
given out the technology to an estimated
20 countries.
Cancer and deformities among Iraqi
citizens are calculated at 67% and climbing.
The causality rate for American Gulf War
Veterans is approximately 30% and climbing.
American GIs whose sperm and ovaries have
been exposed to excessive radiation while
on military duty are parenting abnormally
high rates of children with Chernobyl-like
birth defects.
Our
legislators have introduced a bill in Congress,
Serrano bill H.R. 4463, (see http://thomas.loc.gov/
insert bill # H.R. 4463) to provide screening
and testing of American soldiers for depleted
uranium contamination after their
return from duty. Due to United States initiation
and engagement in radioactive nuclear warfare
we have injured our own soldiers. Interestingly
enough, there is only one line in the bill
that concerns treatment; “that
the Secretary of the military department
concerned shall provide appropriate treatment
for any illness of an individual from a
depleted uranium contamination or exposure”.
What constitutes “appropriate treatment”
for illness due to radiation exposure?
Although this bill exhaustively details
the how, when, where and why of the event
of exposure, it fails to detail the military’s
plan of responsibility for life long debilitation
and secondary health events that may ultimately
manifest over the years? Thirteen years
of accumulated evidence of cancer and the
slow, insidious, painful deaths that accompanies
radiation exposure is omitted from the bill’s
summary. Furthermore, there is no
military rule of responsibility for families;
namely, deformed progeny caused by
sperm and ovum radiation exposure. (See:

Another bill, McDermott H.R. 1483, (See http://thomas.loc.gov/
insert bill # H.R. 1483) currently
in Congress, requires studies regarding
the health effects of exposure and requires
the clean up and mitigation of depleted
uranium contamination at production sites
in the United States. There is no mention
of United States responsibility to clean
up the radiation in other countries
Considering
the overwhelming evidence of current damage
to health and environment, a call for a
moratorium on the use of depleted uranium
and radioactive munitions and its immediate
recall from the estimated 20 countries that
presently retain licenses to this technology
is remarkably absent from the bill. The
bill is weighted down in studies and reports
despite evidence of a clear and present
danger. .
Who,
in Congress, is willing step forward and
confront the fact that despite the changes
in administration since 1991 these nuclear
weapons have been consistently deployed.
Who is willing to call for an immediate
halt and recall of depleted uranium and
nuclear technology as it pertains to conflict
and warfare?
2. Biotechnology: Who gave the US government jurisdiction
over nature?
In the Biotech Age, the United States has redefined the term “safe”.
Once
again, initiated and directed by the United
States government, biotechnology is facilitating
the complete degradation of the global food
chain through the covert integration of
genetically engineered organisms, GMOs,
biotechnology, and split foods (genetically
engineered animals as food for human and
animal consumption, unlabeled at the consumer
level) into the United States food production
from farm to table.

sponsored by Senator Durbin of Illinois,

Despite
overwhelming scientific evidence to the
contrary Durbin’s bill makes the irrational,
sweeping assumption that genetic engineering
is safe and beneficial; “The potential
positive effects are enormous”, sites
Durbin in his opening findings. Designed
by the biotech industry it proclaims, “genetically
engineered food is rapidly becoming an integral
part of domestic and international food
supplies,” as if to say, it is too late
to do anything about it. Could this
be because the government, despite years
of consumer petition, has tacitly denied
consumers’ right to know by the labeling
GMOs? (See: www.organicconsumers.org)
In
any case, labeling or not, GMO foods are
considered by independent scientists and
researchers as a clear and present danger.

International research scientist, Dr. Arpad
Puztai, for example, shows that rats given
genetically engineered potatoes bleed from
the gut, especially the females. But the
FDA refuses to merge this research into
their data base. FDA depends entirely on
industry driven research and application
which are self-maximizing and inevitably
skewed toward economic gains over consumer
protection and natural law.
Who
gave the United States government and the
CODEX jurisdiction over nature? Facilitating
the rapid degradation of our nation’s food
supply this
bill provides the grounds for future WTO/CODEX harmonization which will accelerate an uncontrollable
degradation of the global food chain.
In
essence this bill is a food production and
food supplement tentacle emerging from the
WTO (World Totalitarian Octopus). Legislatively,
this bill attempts to render subservient,
US domestic law to an unmanifest, self appointed,
self maximizing world government.

CODEX: (The lawmaking arm
of WTO as it concerns food production, vitamins
and supplements)
Government
agencies such as FDA, FSIS, USDA, initiate
United States based CODEX directives to
the global community. The US Congress and
its Presidents have given away basic rights
of this country to the WTO and their lawmaking
body CODEX. For example, under the
terms of the SPS Agreement, (a sub section
of the GATT Trade Agreement which the USA
has signed), the only legal basis
on which a nation can refuse to harmonize
its domestic law to a finalized Codex vitamin
standard is on a basis of “safety”.
Regardless of massive consumer protestations, contamination,
(or as the Durbin bill calls it, “integration”)
of genetically engineered foods into our
domestic and international food supplies
is covertly and rapidly taking place.
Despite
irrefutable science to the contrary, remarkably,
GMOs are not red flagged as “unsafe” as
it is virtually impossible to identify GMO
ingredients at the wholesale and consumer
level because of the government/industry
agribusiness biotech complex resistance
to labeling has been so fierce.
Currently, WHO and CODEX have determined
that high doses of vitamins and supplements
are “unsafe”, demanding recall and diminished
public access (Durbin bill, see http://thomas.loc.gov/,
insert S 722).while the same vitamins and supplements derived from genetically
engineered sources are exempt from “safety”
guidelines and labeling requirements. In
other words, it appears that high vitamin
C is more of a safety issue than a cloned
pig destined for human consumption. The
United States, via Monsanto who is the dominant
world owner of the GMO technology, is oddly
insulated from such scrutiny.
Meanwhile,
a remarkable remedy lies dormant in the
108th Congress. The Kucinich
Genetic Engineering bills. (See http://thomas.loc.gov/;
insert bills H.R. 2916, 2917, 2918, 2919,
and 2120.The passage of this legislation will
certainly cause the beast to rear its head,
but in one stroke it will change the corrupted
course of mankind.
In conclusion, we can no longer deny that the United States government with
its internal constitution for corporate
rights has become a clear and present danger
to the world community.
There are two urgent issues that if
allowed to continue on its course will devastate
this planet and annihilate the greater portion
of the global population in a very short
time: Nuclear war and Biotechnology.

The
Solution: Dissolving the vision of a self-maximizing America, and clarifying
a new vision for America, a new vision for
the world
Nuclear Warfare:
Presidential act or congressional emergency legislation
to immediately cease the use of depleted
uranium munitions and to implement a
US moratorium on the use of depleted
uranium, chemical and biotechnological
warfare.
The recall of depleted uranium technology from the 20
or more countries the US has licensed
this technology to.
The
signing of the nuclear non proliferation
treaty.
Biotechnology:
Immediate and complete moratorium on the further commercialization
of genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
and related biotechnology.
Critical Crossroad:At this moment the European
Union may collapse under the US
presidential pressure to push forward
agricultural biotechnology. Once
this happens we have no recourse
from the swift and final degradation
of the global food chain for humans,
animals and plants.
Turning point.Indeed a moratorium would
temporarily affect the United States
economically, but this action would
have little impact on a global scale
as it concerns commerce in GMOs.
Biologically speaking, the carcinogenic
invasion of the global body can
be contained at this point. A moratorium
for the United States is a credible
plan and a global consideration.
The alternative
to self reformation: Until
the United States or producers themselves
implement labeling of GMO products,
the Global community must cut off
the flow of processed foods and
supplements from the United States.
We must no longer deny that our
internal constitution for the supremacy
of corporate rights has gone so
far as to endanger the integrity
of the entire global food chain.
Without swift and decisive reformation,
the United States must be cut off,
like a cancerous tumor so that the
Global body will survive.
A revisit and investigation of the US Patent and Trademark
office and its right to exercise jurisdiction
over nature by its approval to patent
novel life-forms.
A plan for an orderly withdrawal of GMOs from United
States food chain
The immediate cessation of policies of imposition that
force genetically engineered foods,
seeds and agribusiness biotechnology
on other countries
